The Coronet Trim shawl was made
from instructions for the book:
"The Crochet Stitch Bible" by Betty Barnden published by Krause publications
A multiple of 7 sts + 1
Row 1: 1 SC in 2nd ch from hook, 1 SC in each of next 5 ch, * turn, 7 CH, skip 5
SC, 1SC in next SC, turn, [6 SC, 5
CH, 6 SC] in 7 ch sp, 1 SC in each of next 7 foundation ch, repeat from * ending
1 SC in last foundation ch, turn.
Row 2: 4 CH, skip first sc, * skip next 6 sc, [1 DC, 3 CH, 1 SS in first of
these 3 ch] 4 times in 5 ch loop, 1 DC in
same 5 ch loop, skip 6 sc, 1 TR in next sc, repeat from * to end, working last
TR in 1 ch. Fasten off.
